Well got a little back on track this month but not as much catching up as I really wanted. I have a good handle full of products that are almost used up that just didn’t get there.

Skincare (7)

Avette Coconut Mild Foam Cleanser I don’t like cream to foam cleansers so this was fine but not for me.

Repurchase: No

Kiehl’s Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Masque me and Kiehl’s just don’t vibe together. This was fine it did clean out my pores I don’t love a super drying mud mask though because they are so hard to wash off.

Repurchase: No

Naisture Tea Tree Mask Pack this was fine I did wake up with a pimple after using this but I think that was more this bringing it out because I’ve been working in heat and dirt a lot lately so I think that was a helpful thing.

Repurchase: Maybe

Fre Glow Me Tinted Moisturizer SPF 30 this did not break me out and it looked fine on my skin but it had an almost gritty texture that I didn’t love.

Repurchase: No

Infinitive Beauty Crystal Collagen Gold Powder Eye Mask these were not great they were so thick you had to stay perfectly still to keep them on and I like to do things while I wear eye patches.

Repurchase: No

Garnier SkinActive Aqua Boost Fresh-Mix Sheet Mask really didn’t like this there was so much serum it was so drippy and it’s the cheaper type of Hylaronic acid so it was super sticky.

Repurchase: No

dani beauty Dewy Face Toner Mist this might as well have been water it was cheap if I needed a really cheap spray I would get it but I wouldn’t seek it out over trying something new or one I really like.

Sweet & Shimmer Face and Body Mini Wipes in Frosted Vanilla I loved these little scented wipes I hate that Ulta only does the unscented ones now.

Old Spice Antiperspirant in Peppermint Slopes this was really nice I like the scent I would get it again if it comes out for Christmas again.

Home Scents (1)

FCS Scent Diffuser in Jelly of the Month Club this was not a great scent. I am really trying to use up the home scents I have and not get new ones and take a break for a bit to just have less items to manage in my life. For a little while.

Lip (1)

Carmex Lip Balm in Merry Berry did not like this flavor as much as the other flavors but still really  great Carmex squeezey tubes are really a top ten lip balm for me.

Makeup (1)

Lime Crime Venus Liner in Baby’s Breathe I think this company went out of business maybe from all the scandals. This was a great white but hard to use and dried out fairly quickly.

Bodycare (3)

Robinson Family Soaps Blissful Summer Salt Soak this was pretty terrible I didn’t like the scent and it left bits all through my tub that were hard to clean.

Repurchase: No

FCS Body Bomb in I Love You Most this had no scent and no color.

Repurchase: No

365 Coconut Milk Bath Bomb this was pretty good it had no color which I get this is a more natural brand. I could really smell the coconut milk and it really made my skin feel nice.

Not Your Mothers Tough Love Intense Bonding Treatment this was fine not as good as Olapex.

Amika Normcore Signature Shampoo I really didn’t like this it left my hair dry.

Garnier SkinActive Aqua Boost Fresh-Mix Sheet Mask I didn’t like this so getting rid of the other one I had in my stock.

For a mid year check in I need to use up 54 more items and get nothing new in to meet my goal for the year it feels doable now but lets see.

Wow February really flew by this year unfortunately more items came into my life then left I used up 23 things and added 24 things to my hoard. Same with all the other things in my life that I collect and track but that is sorta to be expected. My birthday is at the end of January and that always leads to some post birthday things coming into my life as well as I just had a really tough month and had quite a few treat yourself moments and retail therapy. It is what it is.

Skincare (4)

Saturday Skin Waterfall Glacier Water Cream I really really liked this it was super hydrating and thick but in a nice way I would use it as like a night cream/sleeping mask but I really liked it.

Repurchase: Maybe

Barbor Hydra Plus Ampoules I just don’t get the point of packaging things like this. It is so excessive and I can’t see how it helps the product in any way. One ampoule is more then I need, having to crack open a glass vial and then having sharp edges just feels like not the best idea. This was also a really thin liquid and I just didn’t vibe with this.

Perricone High Potency Growth Factor Firming & Lifting Serum this was weirdly gritty but I do feel like it did a slight lifting and firming.

Repurchase: No its like obscenely expensive

Beekman 1802 Dewy Eyed Illuminating Eye Serum I kinda hated this it was not super illuminating it was not super hydrating I really just did not care for this eye cream at all.

Repurchase: No

Random (2)

Degree Dry Protection in Shower Clean this was fine I don’t love it as much as my normal Ultra clear ones. I have another one or two of these to use up because I bought them all on a couponing sale deal so it is what it is.

Grande Cosmetics Grande Lash Serum this really does grow my lashes longer and thicker I love it.

Repurchase: Yes

Home Scents (4)

Bath and Body Works Sugared Lemon Zest Candle very much liked this I love lemon and sweet scents. The scent throw was alright.

Repurchase: Maybe

Trader Joe’s Scented Candle in Fresh Currant I liked this it had a good scent throw and burn time for how little it was. And I really like Currants. I would totally buy this again if it comes back next year.

Bath and Body Works Wallflower in Peppermint Sugar Cookie this was fine it wasn’t super strong but it wasn’t terrible.

Repurchase: No

Forever Green 44 Sandalwood & Patchouli Candle this was a really good candle and a nice comforting scent and it burned for a really long time.

Repurchase: Yes

Lip (2)

FCS Lip Shine in Watermelon Cake this was basically a lip gloss in a pot very nineties glosses are not really my thing but this one wasn’t awful. It wasn’t sticky it felt nice on almost like a gloss balm and I could wear it kinda thick at bed time like a lip mask it tasted great which was a big drive to want to use it.

Repurchase: No

Lloyd’s of La Luna Lip Balm in Maia Tamarin I did not like this as all it was really grainy after awhile and had no taste or smell of raspberry like it was supposed to.

Repurchase: No

Makeup (2)

Hourglass Caution Extreme Lash Mascara I do love this mascara but I didn’t like it in a mini the brush was way to big and the handle way to small and it was so hard to use like that.

Repurchase: Not a mini

Wet n Wild Megaliner in 871A Black this was meh I don’t think I like this dip style of liner as much as I used to this was just an ok liner nothing super special but also totally gets the job done well for a cheap price.

Repurchase: No

Lotion (1)

Tokyomilk Bon Bon Shea Butter Lotion in Kabuki I really didn’t like this it was way to think to be actually moisturizing it was more like a perfume cream then doing anything to hydrate. I got it for free but I don’t think I would ever spend this much on a cream

Bodycare (3)

Tree Hut Shave Oil in Coconut Lime I always use this shave oil I love shave oils I have never really found another one to even try but I would. This is my second favorite the three scents.

Charmed Aroma Charcoal Bath Bomb these are fun I love getting the jewelry in side even though it is cheesy and too expensive. The bath bomb itself is good it lasts a long time smells good feels nice on the skin but holy shit did this make a disaster of tub it left a grey ring and the flower petals got stuck everywhere.

Repurchase: Maybe

FCS Body Wash in I’ll Never Let Go this was nothing special I used it but the scent was hardly there.

Perfume (3)

Juicy Couture Hollywood Royal Perfume this perfume is a whole lot of nothing in terms of scents or thoughts I just have had it forever and wanted to just use it up.

Repurchase: No

Bath and Body Works Fragrance Mist in Champagne Apple & Honey this took me a surprisingly long time to use up for how little it is. I focused on this as my only fragrance for like 2 weeks and I would have to apply it like twice a day. But I used it up it was whatever. I never use body sprays as perfume I usually use them as room sprays but I love apples and honey and just wanted to try it out.

Repurchase: No

Fortune Cookie Soap Company Perfume Oil in Eat Me this was a little rough to get through even though I loved it. I love sweet scents I really do but this was so heavily vanilla cupcake scented that it almost would turn sickening on the skin if not used in tiny doses because it was so heavy and sweet. So I could only use like a dot of this at a time. I think I would prefer this scent in a lotion or a bodywash something that will fade a lot quicker and not have the time to sit and turn.

Haircare (1)

Marc Anthony Nourishing Argan Oil Conditioner this was pretty good it made my hair feel softer not necessarily less dry but softer.

Declutter (1)

Dr. Botanicals Cocoa & Coconut Superfood Reviving Hydrating Mask this is super thick and sticky and it is supposed to be left on all night and I just can’t with it. I also didn’t find it to be really hydrating.

Well I got my monthly goal plus what I missed last month and then some so that is really good.

I just can’t believe the year is over I feel like it was some how so long and so short all at the same time. I am going to do a separate wrap up/2022 goals post so this is just the December empties.

Youth to the People Kale + Green Tea Spinach Vitamins Superfood Cleanser this was totally generic and I have no feelings.

Repurchase: No

Feel 4D Hyaluronic Acid Under Eye Cream this was fine it was hydrating but didn’t do anything special or crazy.

Repurchase: No

Tarte Mermaid Skin Hyaluronic H20 Serum I did not like this it was very very runny and water like so it felt like I was just moving it around and mostly absorbing into my hands. Not good.

Repurchase: No

Kypris Antioxidant Dew Quench & Glow Serum well I used this for a long time you really “get” your money’s worth in that sense  but I don’t know that this was worth $90 dollars of essentially slightly plumping glowy moisture.

Estee Lauder Resilience Lift Night I never liked this it was sticky and hard to blend into my skin and I just didn’t like it.

Repurchase: No

Estee Lauder Perfectionist Pro Rapid Brightening Treatment I used this for so long so I guess in that sense you get your $110 worth but I don’t feel like it did anything for my skin I really didn’t see any effects.

Repurchase: No

Sand & Sky Australian Pink Clay Pore Refining Mask this was good it helped my pores when I used it, to clearn them out and make them feel and look a little smaller temporarily. It is also very very drying and tightening.

YSL Pure Shots Night Reboot Serum also hated this it was really oily and just kinda hard to apply and didn’t feel great on my skin.

Pacifica Cherry Kiss Hydrating Lipstick Wipes I love these for taking off liquid lipsticks they make it easy and mess free and they taste great I love cherries.

Sure Unscented Invisible Solid Anti-Perspirant & Deodorant this was fine I guess I bought it at the dollar tree in an emergency and used it.

VS Fresh & Clean Candle I don’t feel like this candle had much of a scent at all but the glass was really really pretty and the glow was really nice through the pink frosted glass

Swan Creek Candle Co. Drizzle Melt in Vanilla Pound Cake this is my favorite brand of wax melts and I am almost out. This was really sweet and bakery like which I love.

Natural Pure Honest Candle in Narnia this was fine it was very cold weather Christmas tree vibes not my typical scent but nice around the holidays.

Repurchase: No

Ulta Beauty Pixar Toy Story Candle (Milk & Cookies) this smelled so good I love milk and cookie kinda scented candles. And I love Disney. This was so so good. But I am on a huge candle ban right now I have more then I can use up in a reasonable time span and my candle storage is at max capacity so I can’t buy another one of these.

Repurchase: I want to but I can’t

Homeworx Hot Cider Donut this had a good scent throw but it was really donut forward very little of the apple of cider. It also burned kinda quick for how large of a candle it is.

Repurchase: Yes but only on sale

Lip (1)

Fresh Sugar Lip Balm in Mint Rush this is like one of my all time favorite lip balms I love how minty it is I love how smooth it is. It is so soft and feels so nice on my lips I love it. I love how luxe the packaging is it is a heavy plastic that screws shut and looks like metal. I HATE the price it is $24 dollars which is insane.

Bath and Body Works Body Cream in Gingerbread Latte I hated this I hate how some of the Bath & body Works creams will turn yellow and chunky I know is is because of the vanilla scent oils and not because it has gone bad (it smelled an preformed fine) I just find it gross. I really am more trying to use up their stuff and not really buy much anymore I just don’t think the quality is worth the price. Every now and again there are scents or products that I think are really stand out and good but on the whole not so much.

L’Occitane Amande Supple Skin Oil this was just a body oil it was fine nothing overly exciting but it felt nice and it absorbed well.

Ulta Beauty Harry Potter Gryffindor Tinted Lip Balm am I saving this for display yes did I hate this product also yes. I don’t want a super red super pigmented tinted balm it just slips and slides all over and gets on everything either it needs to be super sheer or it needs to be untinted.

Wet n Wild Megalast Liquid Lip Color in Cherry on Top this was a pretty color but it was flakey and dry and crusty and I have better I don’t need this I have so many lipsticks and I am back on trying to retry the ones I have and get rid of ones I don’t like or need.

Violet Voss Essentials Eye Shadow Palette this is just boring and the formula isn’t that special so I can let this go I don’t have any amazing memories of using it and I was reorganizing and it can just go.

Carol’s Daughter Almond Milk Leave-in Conditioner this product is great but the scent I just can’t stand it is two floral too heavy and bitter all at the same time and it lingers in my hair for a very long time so this is sad it is a good detangler refresher leave in it is a great product it is just the scent for me.

Physician’s Formula #InstaReady Contour Trio in Bronze Trio I just don’t ever use this anymore. It was fine when I used it I used to use all the stripes separately with a brush and it is fine but it isn’t worth the effort and it can go.

YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Oil-in-Stick Hydrating Lipstick Balm I have two of these in the same shade and this is really not my kind of product so despite it being YSL I can’t justify having two slippy slidy lipstick balm products.

KVD Super Brow in Scarlet I never really liked this it is hard to remove it is not a pure red or a scarlet it is very orange and it is really waxy and hard to apply.

Sophia + Mabelle Hydrating Hybrid 2 in 1 Lipstick Balm in Topless I don’t like the formula or color of this lipstick balm I don’t like how slidy it is and the color is very dead on me.

Well this month was all bonus because I had hit my goal in Nov which worked out since this was my second lowest item count of the year but it was my fourth highest in product value.
