What is it: Well anyone that has been here for any amount of time knows I love this company and use their products all the time (#notsponsered lol but for real no I’m way to small time for that shit).  Fortune Cookie Soap Company (FCS) makes bath and body products with all different themes and scents. Usually inspired by movies, or tv shows or other pop culture things. It is seriously really fun they stuff. I could go on and on about it but I’ll save my gushing the products are always great quality and have that homemade, made with love touch with out feeling DIY. Also for a bonus alot of their products are vegan.

The FCS of the Month Club every month will send a mix of full sized and deluxe sized products, saving you 50% off retail.  Every month is a different theme and you can skip a month if you aren’t feeling that month’s theme as long as you skip it before the 10th of the month. You will also earn points for what you spend on the box and purchases each month that you can redeem for reward certificates basically to shop on the site which is a great plus.

The theme this month is The Park is Open theme after Jurassic Park, which I love so much. The packaging is so perfect to the bottles are all like a nice dark amber so cute.

Perfume Oil Clever Girl

This is a strawberry, apple, rose, vanilla perfume.  I obviously can’t use this and it smells very strongly of roses. I would have imagined a different scent to describe Blue, for anyone that has seen the move so this kinda missed the mark for me.

Body Milk Spare No Expense

Full Size: 8.6 oz

Full Size Cost: $13.99

This is back to the pricing I am used to seeing from FCS.  This is a new product it is super moisturizing and does sink in to my skin incredibly quickly it is a bit tacky and really messy since it is the consistency of milk. I love the scent on this it is bergamont and lemon and a neroli type scent.

Exfoliating Body Wash in Perserved in Amber

Full Size: 4.65 oz

Full Size Cost: $7.99

I some how neglected to take a picture of this one.  This is amber, jasmine, mandarin and cassis berries and smells rather masculine. I am going to probably pass this one on to my gf since I don’t love the scent.

Toilet Bombs in Water Ripples

Full Size: 3 oz

Full Size Cost: $8.49

This is such a funny name for it I love it. You can’t really smell these to you use them.  So these are almost impossible to break apart and FCS has said that there were some packaging issues that have cause this problem.

Shaving Cream in Cryo Can

Full Size: 3.1 oz

Full Size Cost: $12.99

I love shaving creams so this was a yay. This gave me a super close shave and didn’t take much product. Summer Squash and earth is the scent descriptors and you can smell it but I would have hoped for a minter scent as more of a nod to the Barbasol cans in the movie.

Car Freshener in Must Go Faster

Full Size: 2.25 oz

Full Size Cost: $7.99

This is orange, lemongrass, thyme and avocado and this is my favorite scent in the box it smells so damn good. I am obsessed with room and car sprays so this is like such a perfect product for me.

Moroccan Oil Hair Detangler in Life Finds a Way

Full Size: 5.3 oz

Full Size Cost: $10.99

This is nectarine, apricot, oak and sandalwood. I like having detanglers on hand and I really like FCS detanglers.

Percentage Savings: 53.7%

This was such cute good theme and great products the scents weren’t all great but I was pretty pleased with it over all. Most especially the car spray.

So this month’s theme is the 80s I can’t say I relate at all lol I am a total 90s baby. The aesthetic seems very 80s movie to me.

I am loving the new boxes they have now. The blue is so so cute and so is the quote the printed box seems really sturdy too not that I have every had a problem with their shipping.  There are not links here because this collection has not launched yet.

I like FCS perfume oils they are the only ones I really use. Billie Jean is also my favorite Micheal Jackson song so I’m happy.

It’s a Doodie! Toilet Spray in Danger Zone

I want this scent as a perfume its peach and black cherry I love cherry scents.  This is one of those toilet sprays you spray in the water before you go ad it is supposed to prevent any icky smells. I am definitely keeping this in the bathroom so certain people know to use it.

Argan Hair Shine Oil in Permed & Teased

Full Size: 0.5 oz

Full Size Cost: $9.99

These boxes are really making me see how expensive these products have gotten over time the previous hair oil I had from them like 2 or 4 years ago was like 2 or 3 times the size for a similar price. I do like their hair oils they are really thick so a little goes a long way and they make my hair so shiny.

Lip Scrub in Life is Delicious

Full Size: 0.6 oz

Full Size Cost: $9.99

This will last forever. I like that their scrubs are edible and taste good it cuts down on the mess factor I hate with potted lip scrubs. This one is in a nice sweet strawberry flavor. These scrubs have a little bit of stickiness that binds them together but mostly just the sugar so it my lips feel nice and scrubbed and soft after using them.

Body Glowtion in Mixtape

Full Size: 6.2 oz

Full Size Cost: $14.99

This looks giant at first but 6 oz isn’t much for a lotion meant for your whole body. This is a watermelon scented (yuck) tinted shimmery body lotion (not me at all). I am passing this on to my cousin I think she would get a huge kick out of this and would use it. It does give a bronzey shimmery look to your skin with out looking like fake tan.

Cooling Aloe Mist in FCS Vice

Full Size: 5.2 oz

Full Size Cost: $9.99

I love cooling mists so this is right up my alley. It is mojito scented which is fine I would have preferred something else but it is themed around Miami pretty well with the scent the name and product type. I like to use these as a cooling face spray, light hydration, calming itchy irritated spots really multi purpose for me.

Facial Cleansing Oil in Totally Rad

I saved my most favorite for last. I was gona use the points I have been saving up towards a facial cleansing oil because I loved the teeny tiny one I got from them forever ago but I am almost out. A little of this goes a long long way so now I don;t need to buy one for like ever basically. This is grapefruit and pear scented so it smells awesome. I use this to break down makeup for a first cleanse and then follow it up with something else.

I like that we got all different things in this box it was a much better variety of products then last month was. I am really happy with this months box I love the facial oil and the hair oil the most. I can’t wait for the July Jurassic Park themed box.

May the 4th Be with You! May’s theme of course was Star Wars FCS always does some kind of Star Wars collection for May. These reviews are also always late because I have to wait for the collection to officially launch to get prices and what not.

Sugar & Spice Body Polish in Smuggler

Plus side this comes with a little scooper inside that makes it easier to get the product out! Cons they have sent a scrub in every single box and it is getting a touch boring they make such a huge and interesting variety of products it would be nice to see something else.

Room & Fabric Spray in Hidden Rebel Base

I was in need of a new room spray from FCS having finally used up my last one. This doesn’t smell as potent or as identifiable as alot of other scents they come out with this just smells generally clean.

The Dark Side Red Clay Face Mask

Red Clay and my skin don’t get along the best so I will probably pass this on. It is cool though.

OCD Hand Sanitizer The Droids You are Looking For

Hand Lotion in The Droids You are Looking For

This is cool it is the same shape and type of holder as the Bath and Body Works PocketBacs. I like how this can be attached to something and it is nice and small it is a very interesting complex scent and a nice light hand lotion.

Spray Lotion in Sky Walker

Full Size Cost: $9.99

I like spray lotion I hate the smell of this. It is supposed to smell like fruit and tea, but it almost smells like sour spoiled tea.

Restorative Hair Mask in Rebel Princess

Full Size: 4.5 oz

Full Size Cost: $19.99

I love the packaging on this it flips open rather then unscrewing which is so much more convenient in the shower. This is pricey for a hair mask their hair masks have never been that pricey that being said I really like their hair masks and plan to use this when I finish up the open packet I have.  I could use some hair restoring.

I wasn’t a huge fan of the scents in this box unfortunately but some of the products were really really cool. I am looking forward to next month which is supposed to be Jurassic Park.
