What is it: Every month you will get a bag, a $5 off coupon (sometimes $10), 5 deluxe samples and 1 bonus sample. Why not just say 6? I don’t get it. Lately we have been getting between 6 and 8 items per month you never really know how many things you are going to get.
All the brands will be brands you can find in Macy’s which is cool since they sell Mac and a lot of other brands that are never to rarely seen in subscription boxes.
The cool thing about the coupon is that it is good in stores and online also Macy’s does have sales and $5 products so if you are strategic you can score a free product every month. Depending on your state you may still have to pay tax but it is still basically free.
So not really happy this month at all. The coupon seems to have changed and it is not $10 off a purchase of $40 something I wont use because that’s alot of money to spend I hope the coupon changes back to normal because that is really disappointing after being able to use the coupon to get a free item for so long.
Ugh this mask it haunts me. Every time I finish one another one comes into my life. It isn’t that its bad by any means it totally does what it says with calming irritated skin but with out clogging pores its a good mask I just don’t like cucumbers.
Never got this in a Macy’s box before. I love blackberry scents so this is great for me. I like the green color too but I bet its gona turn the water a really weird color.
My favorite one of these is the orange one but this one I’d say is second. I love little sprays because I can go through them really fast and I can easily bring them places.
I love stuff like this for putting on my wrists/ palms before bed to relax me. I extra love that this doesn’t have Eucalyptus in it because all destressing things have it and I don’t like the scent at all it give me a headache. But this is just like a little chapstick you rub on your skin.
I don’t like the scent of cherry blossoms so I will pass this on. Also I don’t really love this formula I have tried it in another scent and it just is weird its a bit like shaving cream and doesn’t quite feel super cleansing to me.
When Macy’s does these eyes they are made for the box so there is nothing to link to I linked to something similar. This is really nice it has like a soft minky fabric on the back. These are so nice when I have a headache or my sinuses hurt or need a quick ice back these are just super useful.
I like that the theme of this box was all very relaxing spa night in type of vibes and we got a 2 face masks that cater to either end of the skin type spectrum all very good things I hate the coupon change that feels really shadey and money grabby to me.
Boxycharm sends out 4 to 5 full size items every month which makes it really unique among the boxes I subscribe to. It is a nice change to get all full size products especially for $25 which is usually less then the cost of one item in the box. Boxycharm also joined the customization train and you can choose between a few items to have one in your box for the month. I really like that because Boxycharm was getting to the point where I was only liking one thing in my box and even though the value was there the fun wasn’t anymore.

This is is like a lip oil but with the thickness of a gloss but it isn’t sticky at all and I surprisingly don’t hate it. It is totally clear on the lips so even though this comes in a bunch of shades they are all the same shade of clear and the same flavor. It claims the flavor is Coconut but it is more lightly fruity.
This was my choice for the month but I chose it to give to my gf. I wasn’t at all interested in any of the choices this month and this is a product I know she likes. I can’t stand the banana scent.
$22 dollars on fashion nova…..wtf……. I am sure you guys are as sick of reading it as I am of saying it but I can’t use this because allergic. This is a really shadey product this feels very overcharging for private labeled items type of thing.
So I have wanted this palette for over a year but had never bought it and I am pretty excited to be able to get it in Boxycharm. I am also glad I never purchased it because the quality and the shades once swatched are just fine they are nothing special the three shimmery/glittery shades at the top don’t have alot of base color so they are really just toppers. But she real cute and I am glad to add her to my collection.
So there were 3 pairs of these eye gels but I used one as soon as I opened the box. It wasn’t great they did not stay on well they weren’t that hydrating or refreshing on relaxing they really didn’t do a whole lot of anything.
Well I am really happy about the palette and will get way more use out of the lip oil then I would have expected so I guess it was a successful box?
So I didn’t do quite as good this month I am ahead of my average on items I need to use up per month but I am a little behind in value I need to use up each month but I am not too worried yet it is only February.

Origins Original Skin Retexturising Mask I really don’t care for Origins masks I find them to dry down really hard and be really difficult to take off which ruins the experience for me I don’t like masks that I need to scrub off my skin.

Victoria Secret Chill Out Calming Clay Mask so this was supposed to be 3 uses but there is like 20 or 30 uses in this packet. It heavily smells like cucumber like that perfume kinda cucumber which I really hate but it was fine as a calming clay mask it did what it claims to do. In that regard it was a pretty good mask.

Murad Acne Clearing Solution this was fine but I really don’t think you need to spend this much on a spot treatment.

Rich Radiance Cocoa Butter Cleansing Wipes random wipes I picked up at the dollar store not great not bad.

CVS Health Acne Spot Treatment this was fine it did its job but I still think the clean & clear one is more effective. But this was very very similar.

Little Barn Apothecary Coconut + Pear Refreshing Mineral Mist this was fine, not my favorite face mist every but it was fine.

Beekman 1802 Milk Wash Exfoliating Jelly Cleanser I guess this was fine I didn’t have any lasting thoughts about it. I don’t really feel like I need expensive cleansers. Other than the Glamglow one that I really saw a difference with I don’t think they generally are worth it.

Soo Ae Acai Berry Revitalizing Sleeping Mask so there was like three uses in this little pack. I could really smell berries when I put this on but it was pretty soothing. But compared to some of the other sleeping masks I have used this is not as good.

Glamglow Youth Cleanse Daily Exfoliating Cleanser this isn’t even made anymore so it does not matter what I think but it was just a scrub I don’t like how the particles are all different sizes.

Parissa Azulene Oil I like using this stuff after waxing or tweezing if my skin is sore, I like to have some on hand but it doesn’t have to be this one. I go through it very slowly.

Wishes Candle Company in The Bookworm I didn’t really like this at all. I really really wanted to like these cand;es because of the whole pin inside thing but the candles themselves are not that great. This had scent notes of vanilla citrus and honey all things I love but the candle didn’t really smell like that it was just a bit weird and off smelling. Also I had major wick migrating which means the wick wasn’t properly glued down and for a $19 one wick candle I expect a lot better then that.

Fortune Cookie Soap Company Wax Tart in Psych-O’s this was really upsetting because it smelled good but had no scent through.

Dionis Goat Milk Lip Balm in Caramel Apple I wanted to love this I had been really curious about these lip balms and it was just ok. No wear near worth the price. I wanted more apple in the caramel apple flavor and it was more caramel. I t did have a really long use life I worked on this one for a few months since either Sept or Oct so at least 5 months of almost daily use.

Lancome Hypnose Drama Mascara I don’t love lancome mascaras I find them very heavy and goopy.

Soap & Glory Heel Genius this was a cooling lotion which I did not expect and don’t really love but that is personal preference. I didn’t find it to be that moisturizing on my heels either. Now I thought I had used a foot cream from Soap & Glory before but this was totally different then what I remembered, so I don’t know if I remembered a different cream or if it was a totally different brand.

Bath and Body Works Hand Cream in Hot Cocoa & Cream well it smells like hot chocolate and that is certainly something I want in a hand cream. It isn’t that moisturizing but its smells nice.

Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream I really like the scent of this but the cream is just fine I don’t get why it is so expensive other then the scent it seems like a pretty generic body cream.

Tree Hut Moisturizing Shave Oil in Coconut Lime I love the concept of a shave oil and this is the only one I have ever seen at a reasonable price. This is my least favorite scent I would rather have the vanilla one but that one is really hard to find around me so this is fine. I love how sleek and shiny my legs look after using this and how close of a shave I can get with it.

Trader Joe’s Body Scrub in Citrus I liked this one a lot more than the green tea one. I thought it did a better job at exfoliating but there was no scent and I was looking forward to a citrus scent.

Fortune Cookie Soap Bath Bomb in My True North this changed the water such a deep purple color, I love bath bombs that make the water so dark you can’t see through it.

Fur Oil this just isn’t the product for me. It is meant to treat the health of your hair and prevent ingrown and stuff like that but it just isn’t it for me.

Trader Joe’s Body Scrub in Brown Sugar this was supposed to be coffee scented but it was really just vaguely brown sugary sweet I really liked this one a lot I would say tied with the citrus one.

Lush Snow Fairy Body Spray smells like Snow Fairy which is a candy sweet scent that I love it also lasted on my skin and clothes for ever. Which I don’t hate but a lot of people would so be warned if you get this. Maybe do the mist and walk-through thing rather than spraying it on yourself directly.

Rated Green Cold Brew Rosemary Balancing Scalp Pack with Charcoal I actually really like this it soothes my scalp when it feels yucky and dry and itchy but it does it with out drying my hair out and it is a lot easier to work into my scalp then a traditional thick scrub is. The only thing is that it really smells like rosemary so strongly that it smells like savory food which is a bit weird and oft putting for me in the shower. But I don’t mind the scent of rosemary and I can’t smell it on my hair after a shower so it is ok.

Marc Anthony Refreshing Coconut Clear Dry Shampoo I hated this it didn’t make my hair look or feel cleaner, it was clear and it did smell nice like coconuts but it did not preform as a dry shampoo.

Fortune Cookie Soap Company Tink Argan Hair Shine Serum this was one of those products that I was just trying to savor and keep forever. I loved it so much it was such a good shine oil it had the perfect thick not not too thick texture and it left my hair shiny but not greasy. The Tink scent it one of my all time favorite scents and you can very rarely get it so like I am so sad it is gone.

Fortune Cookie Soap Company Warm Cozy Hydrate Me (not pictured) I just don’t ever find myself wanting to use these I don’t love in shower lotions and I thought I would like stick moisturizers and in general I don’t so I have one I am working on. And I have one in a scent I really love that I want to try and give a chance to so I am choosing to pass this one along to my gf because she likes stuff like this. If me and the other one don’t get along, I will pass that along to her as well but I really want to give it a chance and I am super committed to finishing up the one in my shower that is half used.
Small Toothbrush Style Brush (x2) these came in a set from Amazon and I really liked the set. It was pretty and soft but they are lesser quality and they are getting old and ratty now. I have tried to convince myself to use these tiny brushes but I just have no use for them and they take up the space of 2 or 3 brushes each so they just have to go I can’t keep them just cuz they are pretty and I have the whole set.
Royal and Langnickel Moda Small Toothbrush Style Brush pretty much same goes for this brush as the other two I just don’t reach for this style brush in this size.
Brush Cleaning Mat this is just old and disgusting and worn out. I don’t remember where I even got this mat but it has been used so much that its gotten soft so it doesn’t clean as well and the suction cups have worn out so it moves around a lot while I am trying to clean my brushes and it is just time for a new one.
SK-II Pietra Facial Treatment Essence (not pictured) someone I know wanted to try this so I rather pass it on to them then waste it on myself knowing I don’t think it does anything.
L’oreal Lacquer Liner in 172 Navy I have used this once in like 3 or 4 years so I am letting it go for space reasons I just don’t have a need for a navy blue gel liner. Natural Pure Honest Lip Balm in The Dreamer this one makes me sad because it smells so good and as a lip balm it isn’t bad it just it has that hard texture of like a chapstick which is fine but the problem is this is in a pit and you have to dig it out and its too hard to get out and once you get it out you get to much and it is all clumpy. If this had been in a tube I would have loved it, this is a totally packaging fail for me.
I really need to do some more decluttering this year but I got some stuff moved out this month which makes me feel really good.
