What is it: Every season Walmart sends a little sample products of all sorts of health and beauty type items. It used to be a free sample box with $5 shipping. But they have now changed it to a $6.98 box with free shipping with the promise of better and more full size items.

Always super excited when this box shows up I really really love the Walmart Beauty Boxes.

C’est Moi Gentle Makeup Removing Wipes

Who doesn’t need a pack of wipes. I never really buy them but it is nice to have a pack on hand for if I need them or want them for something. These are already more expensive then the whole box.

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge

This is a super popular sponge. I don’t love the Orange Real Techniques sponge I think it is too hard. but it is cool to get it and it is in the new better packaging so it isn’t like they were trying to unload leftovers of their older packaging.

Burt’s Bees Sensitive Facial Cleanser

I had a really bad experience with a Burt’s Bees face cleanser and it has soured me on the whole skincare line. I won’t be trying this, but passing it along. I think their products are kinda harsh and they tout them as being gentle and for sensitive skin but I don’t think they really are.

Dove Exfoliating Body Polish in Pomegranate Seeds & Shea Butter

I don’t love the Dove scrubs they are not super scrubby and they are too creamy and kinda clump up. This smells so so good though I love pomegranate and this smells really nice so I will enjoy using it for the scent.

I don’t know why I got two of these instead of the other sample options but ok. I have been super curious about this line I am always looking for something that is going to be effective against my breakout flare ups. I will be starting to use these straight away.

Walmart always wins in my eyes it is so cheap and they send such great usable things that I always end up using up quickly which is like the whole point right.

What is it: Every month Ipsy sends out a cute makeup bag of samples and full size items. You can review your bag for points that you can trade in for reward items. The rewards change often and the range between 300 points and 1000 points. You can get around 95 points every month.

If you want to subscribe you can subscribe HERE and skip the waitlist. That is my referral link so I do get points to spend but I’m not an affiliate I don’t make any money or anything it’s just the same link any subscriber would get.

You can now customize your bag and pick out one sample per month that will get to be in your bag which is a pretty nice change even though it came with a price increase.

This bag reminds me of Clueless and I love it for that.

I think this is actually going to be really nice. It has that light not quite a color but definitely light and bright also color kinda weird but I think it will be a good base for eyeshadow.

Benefit Bad Gal Bang! Mascara

It really annoys me that we couldn’t get a full mini which would have been 4 g like it had to be more costly and inconvenient to product this size then to produce more of a size you already make. That said it is a pretty good mascara. I am just swimming in mascara though.

This is so fucking pretty you really can see this from space like the packaging says. I love crazy liquid highlighters like this but this would also look amazing on the eyes really happy to get something so cool like this.

I am really happy with my bag this month I feel like September is always good in Ipsy land.

Macy’s Beauty Box September 2021 Subscription Box Review

What is it: Every month you will get a bag, a $5 off coupon (that used to it) with a purchase amount which I hate (SUCH A DOWNGRADE), 5 deluxe samples and 1 bonus sample. Why not just say 6? I don’t get it. Lately we have been getting between 6 and 8 items per month you never really know how many things you are going to get.

All the brands will be brands you can find in Macy’s which is cool since they sell Mac and a lot of other brands that are never to rarely seen in subscription boxes.

Wow Macy’s came super early this month.

Cute little day cream. Super tiny though this is like 3 uses tops. Kinda annoying.

Mineral Fusion Nail Lacquer in Sea Salt

This is a much prettier color on then in the bottle it is like a beigey pink, but this polish is awful. It is really streaky the brush is too big and bendy and picks up to much paint. It takes forever to dry and needs a ton of coats to look smooth. This is going right in the trash it is awful.

I hate this lipstick I have always hated it I think its so patchy I don’t love the color or the feel it is an overhyped lip balm. But it is nice so see Macy’s include this currently hard to get because it went viral on TikTok item. Swatched Below.

I am fairly certain I am not going to like this. It is a sticky lip gloss. It is a pretty shade not too different from Black Honey to be honest.
