What is it: Every season Walmart sends a little sample products of all sorts of health and beauty type items. It used to be a free sample box with $5 shipping. But they have now changed it to a $6.98 box with free shipping with the promise of better and more full size items.

Probably the most interesting thing in this month’s box to me. These things never work for me but I always want them to and I always try them.

This is just not something for me or that I would ever use.

These are pretty cool I feel like this is going to have really good grip in my hair.

This is not a flavor I would go for I don’t like pina colada flavor at all.

I find Cetaphil to be too harsh for my skin but I will pass it along to some one.

I don’t typically like mineral sunscreens but I will give it a shot.

This was definitely the my least favorite Walmart box I have ever gotten. It also came really soon after the spring one kinda weird.

Macy’s Beauty Box May 2022 Subscription Box Review

What is it: Every month you will get a bag, a $5 off coupon (that used to it) with a purchase amount which I hate (SUCH A DOWNGRADE), 5 deluxe samples and 1 bonus sample. Why not just say 6? I don’t get it. Lately we have been getting between 6 and 8 items per month you never really know how many things you are going to get.

All the brands will be brands you can find in Macy’s which is cool since they sell Mac and a lot of other brands that are never to rarely seen in subscription boxes.

Another Brand takeover this month and we have Laura Mercier I like the concept of brand take overs but I haven’t really been impressed with them so far.

Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder

I mean I know this is like the star product from this brand but like who hasn’t tried this. It is fine for a setting powder if a bit heavy.

Laura Mercier Illuminating Eye Cream

Well this is a really expensive eye cream to not have any actives. This is like one use at most here so I don’t see how this is even worth putting in this box.

Laura Mercier The Perfect Cream Multi-Tasking Moisturizer

This jar is very nice for a little sample. This had that fancy old skincare scent that I don’t particularly like. I know this is supposed to wear really well under makeup so that is kinda cool and something different.

I obviously can’t use this. I’ll have pass this on to some one but it is nice and should last awhile you only need a little bit of oil.

Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Colour in Au Natural

I have this already probably got it from a Macy’s box who remembers. These are really nice shadow sticks they blend well they wear well. This color is very basic and neutral and not my favorite of all the color options but a very good product.

Laura Mercier Velour Extreme Matte Lipstick in Fresh

This is a very pretty dusty red color and I love a matte formula this is the thing I am most excited about in this box.

I am really not overly impressed with this brand takeover.

What is it: Every month Ipsy sends out a cute makeup bag of samples and full size items. You can review your bag for points that you can trade in for reward items. The rewards change often and the range between 300 points and 1000 points. You can get around 95 points every month.

You can choose one item in your bag every month which I really like. I will say the quality of the actual bag every month isn’t as consistent or as good as they have been in years past.

Very cute bag this month I love these very watercolor almost impressionist but not quite style for flowers. I will use this bag even though it is a bit plasticy and low quality feeling.

Tresluce Beauty Ready to Bounce Cream Blush in Date Night

This doesn’t feel like a cream blush but the color is so so pretty I really love it. It is really smooth and pretty.

Pink Lipps Lumi Balm Lip Tint in Dream

This is very pink very glossy very soft very much is a dupe for the Fresh Sugar Lip Balm in Dream. I don’t know how long I will have this around for this is not my ideal kinda formula and tint color.

I am much happier with this months bag this feels like it was chosen for me and not just one of a bunch of variations.
