What is it:

Boxycharm sends out 4 to 5 full size items every month which makes it really unique among the  boxes I subscribe to.  It is a nice change to get all full size products especially for the reasonable price of $21 which is usually less then the cost of one item in the box.

Dr. Brandt Hydro Biotic Recovery Sleeping Mask

I love calming masks like this when my skin is irritated which it isn’t right now, just broken out yay. I don’t know why this is in a tube when it is supposed to be in a jar it is a full size amount so I don’t know what that is about. This is so expensive as all the Dr. Brandt products are and honestly I find alot of them to be not worth the price but well see this feels nice at least.

Royal & Langnickel Moda Pro 5 pc Deluxe Eye Kit

This set contains the BMX-466 Shader, BMX-430 Crease, BMX-420 Detail, BMX-402 Smudger, BMX-498 Liner. So they have sent us a set that has the crease brush in it but I don’t care because I LOVE these brushes. They are so soft they are so easy to work with they wash well. They are great I love Royal & Langnickel brushes especially the ones from this line. the texture on these handles is that soft matte and they have those bumpy grips that make them super easy to hold. I just love these.

Hank & Henry Stick With it Long Wear Liquid Eyeliner in Blickity Black

I am always curious about this brand probably because their logo is an owl and I love owls. This is not as matte or as black as I would like from an eyeliner but it is pretty easy to get a line so I am not complaining too much. I am complaining about the size this is full size but 0.55 ml is like half the normal amount you get in an eyeliner so this will go really fast. It does have a bearing inside it to keep the eyeliner fluid and mixed well which I do appreciate. I just don’t think it is worth the price. The card also says this is $20 but it is only $17 and I don’t like when they fudge the prices on card and Boxycharm is guilty of that alot.

Billion Dollar Brows The Microblade Effect Brow Pen in Dark

I can’t comment on the size because I don’t really know brow product sizes. I am super excited to play with this because it seems fun but I have enough brow hair of my own that I don’t know that you will see this in my brow at all but it could be fun for designs like this is going to be a totaly knock around playtime type of priduct for me. I feel like if you wanted to use this seriously though there would be a big learning curve because even swatching it the angle and pressure really changed how it looked.

I guess it kinda looks like hair?

Violet Voss Essentials Eyeshadow Palette

I actually got my first choice palette I think that is a first for me. Any way this is not as bright and vibrant as I was expecting but they really pack a color punch like you don’t need to build them they are smooth so I am happy enough with it but now I sorta wish I had gotten the Too Faced face palette but this will probably get more use that that would have. I am a bright colorful eyeshadow collector so this does fit in my collection super well.

You can always judge a palette by its black and that is just one swipe which is good.

I actually will keep and use everything in this box its a Boxycharm miracle. I am actually really happy with this months box The five brushes are the start for me because I will get the most use out of them. Hurray this is so rare with this box for me lately.

What is it: Every month our favorite money sucking store Sephora sends out a curated box of higher end samples to try out. Every month you receive 5 samples and a perfume sample. The boxes are customized with a few different variations being sent out each month.

There is a small survey that Sephora has you take that helps Sephora curate a box to your needs. There is also a card included in the box for a complimentary mini makeover and 50 extra points if you purchase something in store and now online too.

This was kinda a shitty month this month I am not happy.

First Aid Beauty Pores Be Gone Matte Primer

Starting with the best product for a change because it only starts to go down hill from here ant this isn’t even that wow of a product. so this is a pore filling gripping primer but I like that it doesn’t feel sticky and gross on my skin I like this. It is soft and smooth just the way I like my primers.

Fresh Sugar Strawberry Exfoliating Face Wash

I can be sensitive to strawberries in face products sometimes so this has me a bit nervous. I patched tested it and it seemed ok but it left me kinda red to so I don’t know. I like hte idea of this though.

They couldn’t even sprig for a full size mini after sending the umpteenth black mascara. AND I think they’ve sent this before.

I’ve definitely talked about how I don’t like these moisturizers I feel like they don’t do anything and they smell unappealing to me. But its in here it’ll get used. It has also been sent a few times.

Yves Saint Laurent Libre Perfume

This just smells like lavender and you don’t need to spend 104 dollars to smell like lavender oil. You can do that for way way cheaper. Also I don’t like lavender.

Bite Beauty Lip Crayon in Glace

This makes me so angry that I don’t even want to add it into the value. This is the third time I have been sent this product in this shade. I hate the shade and the product. The batch code is always stamped over the size so it is kinda a guess at how big it is because it is really hard to read I am just so annoyed this is dusty rose color but it a very pink way and I am not even opening it so it ca get passed on. So mad.

I am really getting pissed with all the repeats they send. I think if next month doesn’t wow me I will just cancel because it is getting ridiculous. They are not taking care of people who have been subscriber for a long time by sending repeats and the pamphlets are trying to play it off like well these products are loved, yea that means we all have tried it or have it. Send new products or new shades.

Walmart Summer 2019 Beauty Box Subscription Review

Walmart Beauty Box

Cycle: Every Quarter/Season

What is it: Every season Walmart sends out a box of samples and sometimes coupons in their “free” subscription box. The box is a flat shipping rate of $5 and the box is considered free.  There are two categories of boxes “Trendsetter” which you receive if you provide a birth date that has you aged at under 35 and “Classic” if you provide a birth date that has you aged above 35.

So this is the summer box even though it is september but what ever that’s fine this box kinda just shows up when it shows up.I love it though I always get usable things and it is so cheap.

Bic Soleil Sensitive 3 Blade Razor

I love disposable razors for travel so that I can toss toss the whole thing and save luggage space. and this so happens to be the brand I already use because with coupons I can often get it for free or dirt cheap. These aren’t the sharpest razors and the shave is not close or wonderful but it gets the job done on a budget.

If anyone is wondering why razors are never in my empties its just that I go through at least 4 or 5 a month and it seems silly for me to count something I organically use up so fast.

Maybelline Master Precise All Day Liner in Black

I love how this is almost full size in amount but they put it in this tiny liner for like no reason lol. Also this is $2 more at Ulta then target wtf. Anyway this liner isn’t great it isn’t easy to work with the tip is too long and it is not black enough or long lasting enough for me. This will get passed on while I work on a different mini of this that I have.

Nivea Aloe Vera Body Lotion

Not enough to even do one leg but I’ll just use it as a hand lotion or something. Aloe lotions often make me feel sticky so it is nice to get to test out the feel.

Biore Witch Hazel Ultra Deep Cleansing Pore Strips

These are always fun and they temporarily make the pores on your nose look cleaner so I like them I use them but I don’t buy them. I do find these Biore ones to work the best though.

I have wanted to try this dry shampoo since it came out because I love coconut lime scents. I am so excited to have this in my stash now!

I have always had really bad luck with miceller waters they always burn my eyes and leave my ski feeling oily and gross but this is a raved about miceller water so it does make me curious to try it. I don’t know what I should do.
