I really didn’t do that well this month at all I think I want to aim for $200 a month which is $2400 for the year. Not that I hit that this month at all. Also to try to end the year with less items then I start it with. Something that also didn’t happen this month.

Kiehl’s Calendula Petal-Infused Calming Mask this was fine it was a bit slimey but soothing and hydrating.

Repurchase: No

Dermalogica Sound Sleep Cocoon I really liked this I felt like it actually did help me sleep better the scent was calming but not overpowering. As a moisturizer it was just a nice gel feel very light. It is so expensive though that I wouldn’t buy it due to price.

Repurchase: Too expensive.

Drunk Elephant Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser this was not that good it didn’t really do a great job of breaking down heavy or stubborn makeup.

Repurchase: No

Home Scents (2)

Cocoa Puffs Tin Candle this was not good at all no scent throw and you cant see the flame because of the way the tin is designed so it was not a good candle burning experience and I have 4 more to get through ugh.

Repurchase: No

Bath and Body Works Wallflower in Holiday this was not impressive I really don’t care for the wallflowers that much anymore I need to find an alternative.

Lip (1)

Lano Lips 101 Ointment in Strawberry this is very thick and Vaseline like so it really leaves a sticky coating on anything you touch. It also kinda would get down my throat if I was drinking anything while wearing it not a big fan of this at all.

Maybelline Curl Bounce Mascara this was not a good mascara it was very wet and sticky and didn’t do much for my lashes at all.

Lotion (1)

FCS Body Frosting in Halloween Town I love the body frostings they are sorta like a dry oil it is a bit hard to explain. They are really moisturizing but take a long time to sink in and a little goes a long way it takes me many months to use up a jar of these. The scent on this one was like Halloween candy and I just loved it so much.

Bath and Body Works Shower Gel in Waikiki Beach Coconut this wasn’t anything special it was just a body wash.

The Crème Shop 2-in-1 Body Scrub in Caramel Pumpkin Latte this wasn’t a good scrub it was too creamy and not scrubby enough.

Joico Weekend Hair Dry Shampoo this was a great dry shampoo is doesn’t leave my hair white or sticky it was good.

Victoria Secret Water Face Mist this kinda stung and I really couldn’t get down with the scent of it.

Rituals The Ritual Of Sakura Foaming Shower Gel I really couldn’t get on board with the very heavy floral scent of this.

Well not a great month at all I hardly used anything up at all.

What is it: Every month you will get a bag, a $5 off coupon with a purchase amount which I hate (SUCH A DOWNGRADE), 5 deluxe samples and 1 bonus sample. Why not just say 6? I don’t get it. Lately we have been getting between 6 and 8 items per month you never really know how many things you are going to get.

All the brands will be brands you can find in Macy’s which is cool since they sell Mac and a lot of other brands that are never to rarely seen in subscription boxes.

First box of the year not really that impressive at all.

This actually sounds like it would be really irritating I don’t know why anyone would want a lemon/acidic makeup remove. This would definitely be irritating to the eyes and if a makeup remover can’t remove my eye makeup it is pretty useless to me.

A fancy two piece mask I don’t find these to ever really fit me that well they are too big but cool the only full size thing in this box.

What’s in My Trash? 2022 Year End Wrap Up

Well my goal was 333 items and $4000 of product and to reduce all my category totals and that didn’t quite happen missed two of the three. Used up 371 items for a totally $3769.46 and only reduced two categories.

Nothing in particular really stands out to me this year in what I used up.

Pie Charts

Switching it up a bit this year I don’t think Bodycare has ever made it into the top three of used items.

No dramatic changes in the value either not that I expect there ever to be candle and skincare and perfume are always going to be the most pricey items I own.

And everything here is much the same as well. I just feel this experiment tells me nothing but that I am consistent.

Now for the Results of the Big Category Project

In total I only ended up with 66 more items then I started with which averages to 5.5 a month really not that bad very not that bad when I take into account that about 24 items were Christmas gifts so 42 items ends up at 3.5 items a month. I actually lowered the Skincare category and Lip which I had really wanted to focus on.

I really don’t know what I want my goals for next year to be I will have to think on it alot over this month.
