Ipsy November 2021 Subscription Box Review

Ipsy Bag

Cost: $12 monthly, $132 annual

Cycle: Every Month

What is it: Every month Ipsy sends out a cute makeup bag of samples and full size items. You can review your bag for points that you can trade in for reward items. The rewards change often and the range between 300 points and 1000 points. You can get around 95 points every month.

If you want to subscribe you can subscribe HERE and skip the waitlist. That is my referral link so I do get points to spend but I’m not an affiliate I don’t make any money or anything it’s just the same link any subscriber would get.

You can now customize your bag and pick out one sample per month that will get to be in your bag which is a pretty nice change even though it came with a price increase.

I really hate the bag this month it feels like really cheap astroturf mixed with crushed velvet ugh so gross.

First Aid Beauty KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub

Full Size: 8 oz

Full Size Cost: $28

Sample Size: 1 oz

Value: $3.50

This was my choice for the month and pretty much the only thing I’m interested in that I got. This is supposed to help with those bumps you can get on your arms. I don’t particularly get that but I thought and AHA scrub might just be nice on my skin and help it glow or something.

Lock It Waterproof Pencil Eyeliner in Pearl Black

Full Size: 0.5 g

Full Size Cost: $9

Sample Size: 0.7 g

Value: $12.60?

So many issues with this. First of all I am going to assume that the size is misprinted because this is clearly a mini pencil but it some how contains more product that the full size. No. Also my came all worn down like it had been used.

I just don’t even care to complain to Ipsy because I do not want a glittery black eyeliner that is just not a thing for me but this is pretty ridiculous. I am going to assume the pencil is actually 0.07 g making it $1.26 that feels more correct.

Sonage Luster Eye Creme

Full Size: 0.5 oz

Full Size Cost: $38

Sample Size: 0.25 oz

Value: $19

I don’t know what a matte eye cream is supposed to be that feels like so opposite the point of an eye cream.

Origins Ginzing Oil Free Energy Boosting Gel Moisturizer

Full Size: 50 ml

Full Size Cost: $32

Sample Size: 15 ml

Value: $9.60

I don’t like the Ginzing line so I’ll pass this along to some one. I just find the line to be sticky and not do anything and I just don’t care to waste my time on it.

Complex Culture Good Glow Blush in Glow Rush

Full Size: 11 g x 2 shades

Full Size Cost: $30

Sample Size: 1.5 g

Value: $4.10

This is a very light pink shimmery blush that dies not work for me I like a deeper mauve or red or orange blush.

Really just not at all excited about this box.
