What is it: Every month Ipsy sends out a cute makeup bag of samples and full size items. you can review your bag for points that you can trade in for reward items. The rewards change often and the range between 100 points and 1000 points. You can get up to 95 points every month.

So there were three bag color choices red, blue, and yellow and of course I got the one I wanted least but it is a super nice bag and I like it despite it being yellow. It is a really soft but substantial feeling vinyl.

I got two of these but I used one like 3 hours after I got it I couldn’t resist. This is not really heavy on the skincare more on the fun factor I mean the packaging is ultra cute. The mask sat on my face super well and was nice and thick like I was able to clean and stuff while wearing this. It made my skin feel soft and look bright but this is more a pre-makeup type of sheet mask then serious skincare with benefits.

This brush I am so excited to have I don’t have and really small packing brushes like this and it is something I always find myself wanting and I love Luxie Brushes.

Make Up For Ever Step 1 Equalizer Primer

This is a very hydrating feeling primer. Not smoothing or blurring or anything like that not something I’m really looking for but it is a nice enough sample their primers a little goes a long way.

Doucce Luscious Lip Stain in 615 Passion Peach

So this is super hard to figure out the value I can’t find the size of the full size and it is only sold as a set with a stain and a gloss. This is super tiny so I am guessing three dollars. I didn’t think I’d like this very orangey peach shade but I don’t hate it, I don’t love it but I don’t hate it. It is matte and does have a nice texture and does leave a pretty stain but unfortunately it smudges every where and makes a messy before you get to the nice stained finish.

I love their lotions they smell edible and they moisturizer really nice I am loving this like citrus cake type smell.

Weirdly low value for having three pricier full size products. I am on the fence this month the things I liked I LOVED but the rest was just ok. I am starting to feel like I may have out grown this subscription.

What is it: Well anyone that has been here for any amount of time knows I love this company and use their products all the time (#notsponsered lol but for real no I’m way to small time for that shit).  Fortune Cookie Soap Company (FCS) makes bath and body products with all different themes and scents. Usually inspired by movies, or tv shows or other pop culture things. It is seriously really fun they stuff. I could go on and on about it but I’ll save my gushing the products are always great quality and have that homemade, made with love touch with out feeling DIY. Also for a bonus alot of their products are vegan.

The FCS of the Month Club every month will send a mix of full sized and deluxe sized products, saving you 50% off retail.  Every month is a different theme and you can skip a month if you aren’t feeling that month’s theme as long as you skip it before the 10th of the month. You will also earn points for what you spend on the box and purchases each month that you can redeem for reward certificates basically to shop on the site which is a great plus.

May the 4th Be with You! May’s theme of course was Star Wars FCS always does some kind of Star Wars collection for May. These reviews are also always late because I have to wait for the collection to officially launch to get prices and what not.

Plus side this comes with a little scooper inside that makes it easier to get the product out! Cons they have sent a scrub in every single box and it is getting a touch boring they make such a huge and interesting variety of products it would be nice to see something else.

I was in need of a new room spray from FCS having finally used up my last one. This doesn’t smell as potent or as identifiable as alot of other scents they come out with this just smells generally clean.

The Dark Side Red Clay Face Mask

Red Clay and my skin don’t get along the best so I will probably pass this on. It is cool though.

OCD Hand Sanitizer The Droids You are Looking For

This is cool it is the same shape and type of holder as the Bath and Body Works PocketBacs. I like how this can be attached to something and it is nice and small it is a very interesting complex scent and a nice light hand lotion.

Spray Lotion in Sky Walker

I like spray lotion I hate the smell of this. It is supposed to smell like fruit and tea, but it almost smells like sour spoiled tea.

Restorative Hair Mask in Rebel Princess

I love the packaging on this it flips open rather then unscrewing which is so much more convenient in the shower. This is pricey for a hair mask their hair masks have never been that pricey that being said I really like their hair masks and plan to use this when I finish up the open packet I have.  I could use some hair restoring.

I wasn’t a huge fan of the scents in this box unfortunately but some of the products were really really cool. I am looking forward to next month which is supposed to be Jurassic Park.

What is it: Every month our favorite money sucking store Sephora sends out a curated box of higher end samples to try out.  Every month you receive 5 samples and a perfume sample.  The boxes are customized with a few different variations being sent out each month.

There is a small survey that Sephora has you take that helps Sephora curate a box to your needs. There is also a card included in the box for a complimentary mini makeover (which are complimentary any way so I don’t really get that) and 50 extra points if you purchase something in store.

Wow this was a really boring crappy month like all older type products nothing that fun or exciting.

And a few items didn’t have the sizes listed on them.

Bare Minerals Original Mineral Veil

More loose powder this is supposed to be translucent but it is lightly tinted.  I have so much loose powder and I never use it.

I don’t love this mask it is really chunky, and doesn’t do much for my skin. It is isn’t bad it just isn’t great. I just used up my last sample and then this came in my box. This is only good for one to two uses so I am giving it one last shot and then I won’t use any more samples that come my way.
