What is it:

Boxycharm sends out 4 to 5 full size  items every month which makes it really unique among the  boxes I subscribe to.  It is a nice change to get all full size products especially for the reasonable price of $21 which is usually less then the cost of one item in the box.

Not a bad month mostly because I love the packaging on everything this month which is a really shallow dumb reason to like these items but what ever the pretty packaging makes me happy.

GlamGlow Gentle Bubble Daily Cleanser

I love the oil slick packaging it is so pretty I love like the look of oil slicks. I’m excited to try this out but I tend to find GlamGlow products to not really be as special as they make themselves out to be. They tend to be very basic or downright dumb (looking at you glitter masks) I rarely get to use a full size cleanser I just use the constant supply of samples I have because I feel like while a nice cleanser is super enjoyable it is on you’re skin for so short a time that as long as it doesn’t irritate me and it cleans my face I’m good.

Alamar Cosmetics Colorete Blush Trio in Medium Tan

I don’t use blush so I will gift this off to some one but this is a really good range of blush shades you kinda got everything you need in a small easy to travel with palette. I also love the packaging the pretty watery/galaxy blue with some foil accents.

Mellow Cosmetics Brow Definer in Chocolate

I really really like this. It is a surprisingly really good color for me which is hard to find it is sorta a neutral dark brown. This is one of those thicker triangle style brow definers with an ok spoolie on the end. I am a pretty big fan of this. Swatched Below.

Dose of Colors Matte Liquid Lipstick in Talk is Chic

I have wanted to try this formula for so long because it is supposed to be super comfortable and long wearing that I legit just bought one like 2 days before this box got to my house lol. This isn’t my first choice of colors it is a very magenta leaning berry shade but I think I can find a way to make it work. Swatched Below.

Ciate London Eye Lustre Cream Shadow in Cupid

I don’t see this sticking around long in my collection. It doesn’t really set but also flakes off at the same time it is really weird. It is sorta a pink champagne to purple silver shift it is really pretty but it doesn’t really wear very well at all. Swatched Below.

Well everything in this bow was super pretty and I am really happy about the brow pencil so this is actually a decent box for a change.

What is it: Every month you will get a bag, a $5 off coupon (sometimes $10), 5 deluxe samples and 1 bonus sample. Why not just say 6? I don’t get it.

All the brands will be brands you can find in Macy’s which is cool since they sell Mac and a lot of other brands that are never to rarely in subscription boxes.

The cool thing about the coupon is that it is good in stores and online (beauty ships free at Macy’s) also Macy’s does have sales and $5 products so if you are strategic you can score a free product every month. Depending on your state you may still have to pay tax but it is still basically free.

This month just was not as exciting as the previous months have been but oh well let’s get into it.

Girlactik Smudge Eraser Stick

So full price this is $17 but I found it for sale so we are going to go with that price. This is a super interesting product but I am just not sure how much use it really has. It is super soft and you are meant to sorta rub it on any makeup mistakes and then wipe it away with a q-tip but I feel like I ted to get a cleaner effect using a bit of makeup remover on a q-tip. I see potential for cleaning up lipstick but have only tried it with eyeliner so far. I like the concept don’t know about the actual function yet though.

Clinique Pretty Easy Liquid Eyelining Pen in 01 Black

This ain’t great. It isn’t super dark, it isn’t super smooth. It is matte which is good but it isn’t easy to draw with I can see myself decluttering this really soon but I want to give it at least a few uses. I just am ever really that impressed with Clinique makeup in general.

Caudalie Vinosource S.O.S. Thirst Quenching Serum

I don’t really like Caudalie products they really do nothing for my skin this included. It is basically a nothing serum for me personally. It doesn’t feel moisturizing it feels sticky. Me and Caudalie especially the Vinosource line just do not get along.

Korres Greek Yoghurt Foaming Cream Cleanser

This is a cleanser I do like alot. I like a nice cream cleanser, this feels super creamy and nice on the skin and you feel nice and clean after you use this. It has no scent it works well it is just a very nice cleanser.

I don’t love the black mask from Boscia so this cleanser really worries me. I have not tried it yet because of that.

What is it: Every month Ipsy sends out a cute makeup bag of samples and full size items. You can review your bag for points that you can trade in for reward items. The rewards change often and the range between 300 points and 1000 points. You can get around 95 points every month.

I love this lemon bag it is so freaking cute. I want to keep it but I’m going to give it to my aunt because we have this thing about lemons and limoncello and its my mom and hers birthday party this week so I am going to give it to her. But so damn cute.

This is super soft I think it will be perfect for highlight this is a little too soft and loose for what I like for contouring so I won’t use it that way. That’s ok brushes are for how you like to use them not what it says on them.

TonyMoly Peach Punch Sweet Foam Cleanser

Always happy to see some TonyMoly Their products are always so cute it makes me want to use them. This smells like peaches and I love that scent and I haven’t used a foaming cleanser in a while so that’ll be fun. I noticed this had a sticker with the ingredients on it so I peeled it off to see what was under it lo and behold it was another ingredient list so I compared the two and the last ingredient printed on the bottle was not on the sticker. It was Cl 16255, that is the ingredient name, i looked up what it was and it is a dye if anyone cares. I was curious and now we all can know lol I’m guessing it has been removed from the formula but they did not want to have to make new tubes. Because I am fairly certain it is illegal to not list all the ingredients and it would be really shitty if this was old product but they put the new ingredient list on it to show what is in the new product even though that isn’t what we are getting. Did that make any sense at all probably not. I am not happy with the value of this sample being that it is on the more inexpensive side they should have sent a larger sample at least like 25 mls I feel.

Tarte Base Tape Hydrating Primer

I don’t love hydrating primers and I am over capacity with primers right now so if it isn’t a primer I think I am going to love I am not really trying to keep it. This is a milky white primer that rubs in clear it is moisturizing and a but tacky. I bet it is probably great for dry skin and holding on your makeup. I’m just not interested.

Nomad Cosmetics Eyeshadow in Blue Lagoon

I don’t really love the formula of these Nomad cosmetics powders they are so soft that they have so much kick back and fall out. Pretty color though. Ofra Cosmetics Rodeo Drive Highlighter

I love this highlighter I actually have it in their old packaging, I got it in a Boxycharm. I know that I will never use this all up but I am tempted to keep it as a backup because I know the Ofra highlighters are super fragile to it would be nice to have a backup. This isn’t their old packaging which was black and it isn’t their new packaging which is square. So I am wondering if this was maybe a test run or something of packaging that they didn’t choose and that is how Ipsy got it. Swatched Below.

Getting a full size high end highlighter in an Ipsy bag is like a huge win making this whole bag feel really amazing even if the rest of the products were pretty tiny and so so.
