What is it: Every month Ipsy sends out a cute makeup bag of samples and full size items. You can review your bag for points that you can trade in for reward items. The rewards change often and the range between 300 points and 1000 points. You can get around 95 points every month.

You can now customize your bag and pick out one sample per month that will get to be in your bag which is a pretty nice change even though it came with a price increase.

So this month’s bag came really late but so did my Boxycharm and all my other mail in general so I don’t know what that’s about.

This bag is really cute this month. I love that it is made of canvas I like the abstract tropical leaves pattern.

This was almost my choice for the month but I chose the Sunday Riley Product instead. This is really soft and dense. This is really good for heavy concealer application for sure.

I love Vitamin C so that is great and I will totally use this but like what the hell is that price $40 bucks for 2 oz like hell no that is absurd.

Sunday Riley A+ High Dose Retinoid Serum

This was my choice. If there is a retinol or a Sunday Riley option in my choices I am always going to choose it. I love really strong retionols because you can totally see the difference in your skin.

Feel 4D Hyaluronic Acid Under Eye Cream

I love hyaluronic acid for hydration it it so light but so hydrating that this is going to be a great eye cream maybe even a day eyecream.

Kokie Crystal Fusion Liquid Eyeshadow in Polaris

I thought Kokie wasn’t being sold anymore but apparently you can get it at Rite Aid which I also thought had gone out of business super weird. This is really pretty but it is pretty patchy compared to my Stila ones that I am comparing it too. This is like a pinky but with rainbow glitters in it. I don’t know I’ll get on with it but I will give it a try. I was on the fence about even doing that but it was so sparkly I had to open it.

Alot of skincare this month but that is good I think I am liking the make up Ipsy sends less and less every month.

What is it: Every season Walmart sends a little sample products of all sorts of health and beauty type items. It used to be a free sample box with $5 shipping. But they have now changed it to a $6.98 box with free shipping with the promise of better and more full size items.

Hello Charcoal Infused Bristles Soft Toothbrush

I love this toothbrush it has such a nice soft feel, soft bristles. I love how sleek and black it is it is very my aesthetic. I also love and only use charcoal tooth brushes when I am using a manual tooth brush so this is totally perfect for me. We may have received this before I can’t remember

Hello Activated Charcoal Epic Whitening Toothpaste (travel size)

Charcoal tooth paste great nice full travel size. We have gotten alot of travel Hello toothpaste in Walmart but it is something you always need so it doesn’t bother me that much. I wonder if Hello sends them stuff to put in these boxes though.

Very charcoal themed box lol. I don’t love peel off masks so I will pass this along. All the 7th Heaven mask I have tried have been fine and they are cheap so its great.

Scunci Wild Primrose Hosiery Elastics

Probably my favorite thing in the box torn between this and the toothbrush. I love hosiery elastics they are softer and then grip my hair really nicely with out pulling it I love them for home or lazy days and these are cute and soft.

Dashing Diva Gloss Ultra Shine Gel Manicure in Desert Quartz

This is literally one cent off the price of the box such good value. These are great for quick manicures really easy to put on. They don’t always last as long as they say they will but still good for a fun look or night out or what ever. They only take like ten minutes to put on less time then nail polish.

Products like this always scare me because I am afraid to look orange or streaky. But this is the year I am committing myself to like trying some of these finally.

I am just so impressed with the value and sizes of the stuff we got in a less then $7 dollar box. And all really great products too not like crap.

I really like the zipper pull on this bag even though the bag is not really my style.

This is not a $23 dollar brush it is very like it is not super soft the bristles are not cut perfectly like they should be on a brush this expensive. This was my choice for the month but is like a $5 dollar brush.

This is just not something I like. these are ultra glittery and frosty and I just don’t vibe with that I can see myself decluttering this after I play with it a bit. Swatched Below.

I tend to really like stick products and Milk Makeup products. This is a pretty dusty rose color that I think is going to make a really pretty blush. Swatched Below.

Mented Balms Away Coconut Lip Treatment

I was really excited for this I love a fancy lip balm. But this was slightly disappointing. This was a bit gritty probably to the instability of coconut oil, that melts and re solidifies pretty readily. I will still happily use it but the little bit of grittiness does not appeal to me.

Sleek’e Silk’e Deep Conditioning Hair Mask

I love hair masks I use them alot. And of course I will use a mask that promises silky hair but this smells awful so bad I don’t like it.

Not my favorite month to be sure. In regards to the low value last month I contacted Ipsy with mediocre results. I emailed them and the first response I got was like “Oh well we make sure all the values are good in each bag with great products sorry you were upset.” basically getting blown off and that was really annoying. Attached to that email was a survey where you could rate your response so I did said I was very unhappy that I was being blown off and no solutions were offered. Then I was immediately emailed back that they were sorry and they added a bunch of points to my Ipsy account. So that was how that all went.
