Well this was a much better month but I am still not quite on track for the year.

Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops this was fine it wasn’t really anything special it was just moisturizing. I would rather put my money towards more active serums then this.

My Skinny Mask Turmeric & Vitamin C Clay Mask I don’t think this did much and it was really hard and gross to remove.

Repurchase: No

Urban Decay Quick Fix Hydra Charged Complexion Prep Priming Spray I really like this spray it just is so expensive. It feels nice it makes my skin feel nice.

Repurchase: Probably

Goldfaden MD Doctor’s Scrub Ruby Crystal Microderm Exfoliator this was fine but there are other much cheaper Microderm scrubs that this is unnecessary.

Repurchase: No

Mario Badescu Caffeine Eye Cream this was fine it felt nice it did a little depuffing but not a ton.

Dr Lili Fan Probiotic XLash Enhancer this burned the shit out of my eyes and it was too watery so it often got in my eyes. It also didn’t work.

Repurchase: NO

Dove Go Fresh Revive Antiperspirant I really like this deodorant. I usually do Dove in the winter and degree in the summer and that works well for me.

Repurchase: Yes

Home Scents (4)

Honey Nut Cheerios Candle this smelled like nothing.

Repurchase: No

Unplugged Book Box Candle in Essence of Innocence this had a very strong scent throw but the scent was also weird it had like layers the top notes were super nice and fresh but the mid and deeper notes has this weird sweet but not scent that I was not super into.

Repurchase: No, can’t anyway these were exclusive to a box I got it in

Trader Joe’s Room Spritz in Super Lemon I love this spray it smells so good and fresh and clean and it covers scents pretty well and it is super concentrated so you don’t need a lot.

Repurchase: Yes

Bath and Body Works Wallflower in Cinnamon Spiced Vanilla & Paris Café this was not very strong at all. I think I’m over these I am down to my last few and I don’t know if I will be buying more.

Repurchase: I don’t know

Lip (2)

Gnome Lip Balm in Candy Cane this was just a random stocking stuffer I got but it was nice it was a good moisturizing balm the packaging was cute. The candy cane scent/flavor was nice.

Repurchase: Sure

Essence Lip Care Booster Lip Butter this was more like a lip gloss mixed with Aquaphor than a lip moisturizer. It was not very moisturizing and it didn’t hang around long enough to be a barrier like Aquaphor.

Repurchase: No

Lotion (3)

Pistache Skincare Pistachio Oil Hydrating Hand Cream loved this great cream smelled nice I liked the green color.

Repurchase: Maybe

Bath and Body Works Restorative Hand Cream love this hand cream it feels really good on it has a nice light vaguely citrusy scent. I really like these hand creams.

Robinson Family Soaps Lotion Bar in Ahn’s Magic this was fine if you like a lotion bar it didn’t get melty or weird it was decently moisturizing but bar form like this is just not for me. I used about half so I am counting it as done but I don’t want to keep forcing myself to use something if is not my thing and slow going.

Repurchase: No

Vacation Classic Spray SPF 30 this was fine it didn’t break me out so that’s always a plus I bought it because it was supposed to have this amazing scent but it really didn’t smell all that good.

Repurchase: Maybe I have others I want to try but if they break me out I would go back to this.

Lush Peach Crumble Bath Bomb this was nice it smelled peachy in a real way not that fake way that can smell kinda gross. It bubbled up ok. I just think they are too expensive so I don’t buy these but they are fun to use when I get them.

Repurchase: No

Pinrose Rollerball in Sun Saint I didn’t like this it smelled odd to me and did not last.

Declutter (5)

Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt Body Crème this smells nice but it smells like strong men’s cologne and not a scent I particularly want on my hands so I will pass it on to my GF she’ll be thrilled.

Real Her Moisturizing Lipstick in Girlpower this was thick and shiny and not my type of lipstick and it is a color I have a million times over.

Dominique Cosmetics Celestial Thunder Eyeshadow Palette I did a mini palette declutter and this is just so similar to a bunch of other palettes I have and I have never used it so I rather pass it on to others.

Boxycharm Hello Charmer Eyeshadow Palette I just don’t care for this color arrangement. Mented Balms Away Coconut Lip Treatment this was so gritty I cannot use it. I went to look at reviews to see if this was like a lip exfoliator and I was just stupid but no apparently they must have a quality problem because it seems like half their batches are gritty and half are good which is not a good look for a brand to have such inconsistencies.

I did a really good job this month with using up more things then I brought in this month which is really good. I am really happy with that.

I really didn’t do that well this month at all I think I want to aim for $200 a month which is $2400 for the year. Not that I hit that this month at all. Also to try to end the year with less items then I start it with. Something that also didn’t happen this month.

Kiehl’s Calendula Petal-Infused Calming Mask this was fine it was a bit slimey but soothing and hydrating.

Repurchase: No

Dermalogica Sound Sleep Cocoon I really liked this I felt like it actually did help me sleep better the scent was calming but not overpowering. As a moisturizer it was just a nice gel feel very light. It is so expensive though that I wouldn’t buy it due to price.

Repurchase: Too expensive.

Drunk Elephant Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser this was not that good it didn’t really do a great job of breaking down heavy or stubborn makeup.

Repurchase: No

Home Scents (2)

Cocoa Puffs Tin Candle this was not good at all no scent throw and you cant see the flame because of the way the tin is designed so it was not a good candle burning experience and I have 4 more to get through ugh.

Bath and Body Works Wallflower in Holiday this was not impressive I really don’t care for the wallflowers that much anymore I need to find an alternative.

Lip (1)

Lano Lips 101 Ointment in Strawberry this is very thick and Vaseline like so it really leaves a sticky coating on anything you touch. It also kinda would get down my throat if I was drinking anything while wearing it not a big fan of this at all.

Maybelline Curl Bounce Mascara this was not a good mascara it was very wet and sticky and didn’t do much for my lashes at all.

Lotion (1)

FCS Body Frosting in Halloween Town I love the body frostings they are sorta like a dry oil it is a bit hard to explain. They are really moisturizing but take a long time to sink in and a little goes a long way it takes me many months to use up a jar of these. The scent on this one was like Halloween candy and I just loved it so much.

Bath and Body Works Shower Gel in Waikiki Beach Coconut this wasn’t anything special it was just a body wash.

The Crème Shop 2-in-1 Body Scrub in Caramel Pumpkin Latte this wasn’t a good scrub it was too creamy and not scrubby enough.

Joico Weekend Hair Dry Shampoo this was a great dry shampoo is doesn’t leave my hair white or sticky it was good.

Victoria Secret Water Face Mist this kinda stung and I really couldn’t get down with the scent of it.

Rituals The Ritual Of Sakura Foaming Shower Gel I really couldn’t get on board with the very heavy floral scent of this.

Last month of the year I tried so hard to pull out all the stops and meet my goals but I didn’t manage it. Despite using up more items this month then I the rest of the year.

Beauty Stat Universal C Eye Perfector this was interesting. It was a really silicony eye cream it did make my under eyes look and feel nice but it was also really bright and looked off on my skin.

Repurchase: No

Estee Lauder Revitalizing Supreme+ Youth Power Crème this was really thick and heavy not my cup of tea.

Repurchase: No

FCS Microdermabrasion Scrub in Dear Friend I like their microdermabrasion scrubs they are really scrubby and fine. A little too scented but I mostly use them in the shower.

Repurchase: Maybe

Kiehl’s Daily Reviving Concentrate I don’t know that this did anything.

Repurchase: No

Clarins Super Restorative Day Cream this is too thick and sticky for my liking.

Repurchase: No

Shiseido Ultimate Protector Lotion SPF 50+ I like this sunscreen a lot it is thin and matte feeling.

Covergirl Weightless Water Cream I really like this cream it feels nice and light not crazy hydrating but super nice.

Urban Decay Meltdown Makeup Remover Cleansing Oil Stick I don’t like this it does break down makeup well but it burns my eyes and that really just makes the convenience of this null and void. This isn’t even made anymore so it really doesn’t matter so goodbye.

Patch Holic Aqua Plus+ Soothing Mask this was very very wet and left my skin feeling filmy and sticky.

Repurchase: No

Peter Thomas Roth Glycolic Retinol Resurfacing Serum this was nice it left my skin feeling really smooth but it was a bit more irritating then other resurfacing serums I have tried.

Repurchase: No

Bliss Lid + Lash Wash Makeup Remover this didn’t work that great for breaking down makeup it didn’t sting my eyes but it just wasn’t that effective at all.

Repurchase: No they don’t even make this anymore

Clarins Sunscreen Multi-Protection SPF 50 I didn’t really like this it was very very white and hard to blend in but not thick and sticky like a lot of sunscreens like this are. I can’t tell if I was allergic to this or not when I would use it on my face for multiple days in a row I would get break outs but if it was just once or twice it I didn’t so it is a bit hard to pin it on this.

Dove Go Fresh Revive Antiperspirant this is fine I am just at the point where I buy what I can get for a good price.

Degree Dry Protection in Shower Clean I really didn’t like this it was the really gooey slippy kinda of deodorant. It worked really well but I was not the fan of the texture.

Bath and Body Works Wallflower in Old Fashioned Cider Donut this had no scent.

Lichen & Limestone Candle in The Ravens the scent throw was super nice on this one and the crackling wood wick was really lovely but the wick wasn’t fully secured so it traveled a lot and it ended up on the side od the glass and I couldn’t fix it which isa bummer because that makes it too dangerous to burn.

Repurchase: No

Trader Joe’s Scented Candle in Pineapple Cilantro this had no scent throw.

Repurchase: No

Trader Joe’s Candle in Honeycrisp Apple this had a lot of scent throw unfortunately I didn’t love the scent it was almost too appley and clean I just didn’t love it.

Repurchase: No

Bath and Body Works Wallflower in Gingerbread Marshmallow this had like no scent throw it was not good at all.

Repurchase: No

Insight Editions Slytherin Color Changing Candle the scent throw on this was light but the burn time and how well the candle burned was really fantastic and it was super fun to watch as it changed colors as it burned and you would get different shades of green it was super pretty and not I have a nice jar.

Repurchase: No only because this is like a one time thing you only need one of these jars hanging around lol

Lasting Smiles Lip Balm in Strawberry Crème I really liked this it smelled and tasted like strawberry cream and was a really good lip balm.

Repurchase: Maybe

Wet n Wild Lip Mask in Candy Apple this smelled and tasted good but it wasn’t a particularly good lip mask and it was very red tinted so it would get on everything if I was wearing it at night.

Repurchase: No

Beekman 1802 Goat Milk Lip Balm this is a really smooth comfortable lip balm but not really scent or anything else.

Repurchase: No

Makeup (3)

Smashbox Always On Metallic Matte Liquid Lip in Maneater I really love these and I am sad that this one has reached the end of it’s life. It is such a pretty Christmasy metallic red and it lasts so well through eating and drinking and talking.

Repurchase: Probably

Mac Magic Extension Mascara in Extensive Black I really disliked this mascara a lot. It made my eyes itchy it was so dry and so hard to removed and it didn’t make my eyelashes look that great.

Repurchase: No

Smashbox Always On Matte Liquid Lip in Bawse you know it’s Christmas when I use up 2 red lipsticks in one month. I love this one just as much ad the metallic one. I would be very torn on which to buy since these are pricey I wouldn’t want to buy both I need like a mini pack lol.

Bath and Body Works Champagne & Apple Honey Body Lotion this was fine it smelled nice it didn’t blow me away.

Ulta Beauty Pixar Monsters Inc Body Lotion in Salted Caramel this was nice ran through it very quickly but the scent was really warm and yummy and it was a nice thinner lotion.

Bath and Body Works Hand Cream in Vampire Blood (Wicked Plum) at first the scent on this was so strong that it was unbearable, but it mellowed over time. These hand creams are some of my favorites.

FCS Whipped Cream in I am Found I like the whipped cream lotions and the scent was quite nice.

Bodycare (2)

Bath and Body Works Peach & Honey Almond Shower Gel I didn’t like this it had no scent. I like my body washes to be really scented and luxe feeling and this just didn’t do it.

L’Occitane Amande Supple Skin Oil this is a great body oil but it isn’t so special to justify the price.

Fortune Cookie Soap Company Fine Fragrance Mist in So Extra Terrestrial this was too sweet smelling like almost made me sick.

Pinrose Merry Maker Perfume I really didn’t like the scent of this and it also faded almost immerdiately.

Juicy Couture Noir this is my favorite Juicy Couture perfume and it is the last one I had and I’m pretty sad about that.

Verb Ghost Shampoo I didn’t really like this I don’t feel like it did a whole lot for my hair.

Andrew Fitzsimmons Hair Conditioner Body I did not like this at all it made my hair so poofy but also flat and I couldn’t style it for the life of me after using it really just didn’t work for me.

Smashbox Always On Matte Liquid Lip in Audition I just don’t like this color it is too light and too peachy on me and just doesn’t look right. Love this line of lipstick though it is just the color.
